Chiropractic Adjustments

Most of the time people seek chiropractic care when they are in pain, most commonly of the neck and back.  Our Chiropractors carefully examine the spine to find out where the problem may be.  Chiropractors are looking for

1. A loss of normal motion or stiffness.
2. Muscle spasms/guarding
3. Tenderness/Pain
4. Neurological issues such as “sciatica”.

If a person has at least 2 of the symptoms listed above, it is likely that they have a spinal dysfunction called a “Subluxation”.  This dysfunction often creates a snowball effect on a person’s health. In general, health begins to decline. Once a person receives an adjustment, it allows the body an opportunity to get better and a chance to heal. A Chiropractic Adjustment is typically done by hand. Our Doctors will guide the patient through the whole process.  Chiropractic adjustments should not be painful and you should begin to feel better afterwards. People often will hear “Popping” noises throughout the adjustments, this is nothing to be worried about, it is just pressure changing in the fixated joints.
